Build Up

When the 8'' kit landed in Australia the plan was to get it in as soon as possible and test it on and off road. We also had 4x4 Australia coming to the HCC trails to shoot articles for the up coming issues and we needed the truck to be drivable for testing and photos on that weekend.

Rodney Watson owner of Rams Automotive A HCC supplier in Taree was keen to do the install and test out the new hoist he just purchased. check out the photos and see the install and some shots of testing the new setup off-road.

After taking delivery of the Skyjacker 8'' system, the products look awesome and the finish and quality of the products is excellent

 

The installation of the Skyjacker products went in extremely well, all products fit perfect and every needed part was there.

 

The Michelins are a great all round tire that have proved to be really good in varying off-road conditions. They seem to wear well and handle good on road. The only draw back is they are fairly narrow. The plan is still to get a wider and probably taller tire.

Off Road Testing

The HCC trails are renowned for being some of the toughest in the country so they were the ideal testing ground for the Ftruck with its new suspension
